1886 1d. rose, hand-stamped “BRITISH VICE-CONSULATE ANTANANARIVO” in black, very fine, lightly mounted mint. Original gum is fully intact, and applied in top right corner (when viewed from reverse). A true gem, as a tiny fraction of British consular mail have survived with their original gum and without paper thins. S.G. 14 (Scott 26)
